Correction; you mean NO. His car with NO sport package doesn't have VLSD.

i have a question..... I am purchasing a G sedan next month and I wanted to know if there was a section in the VIN or something that tells if it has the Sport package.

How would I know if it doesn't have the original dealer sticker? Cause I'm sure a salesmen will just say..."sure it has the sport package!"

Thanks for any help.

Depends on the year. I'm not sure of a VIN lookup but there are ways to find it. What year are you looking for?

Anything 03-05 will have red shocks. The 06 doesn't have red shocks, the only way to really tell on an 06 is have the dealer pull the car info, anohter is the sport wheels, which is still questionable. Also http://www.infinitihelp.com/vin.htm, it has all info on what you can pull off the VIN.

+1. Also, on 03-04, the console (where the radio is) is all one color. It's "titanium colored" from top to bottom. 03-04 non-sports only had a small piece of titanium - if any. I can't remember if it had any, but it sure wasn't the entire console. The titanium console that comes with the sport pkg includes titanium-color all the way down, even around the shifter.

So are you guys saying all Sport model sedans have VLSD? or is it just certain years with certain trannys?

I'm questioning b/c I just changed my diff fluid with non-LSD fluid (assumed I didn't have it). I have a 03 5at.

The '03 -'04 AT sedan does *not* have VLSD.
Sport has nothing to do with VLSD in the sedan

I'm not sure about >'05, but earlier def do *not* have VLSD.
