I just got a 350 midpipe and wanted to see if anyone could recommend exhuasts shops to install and weld on the extension. Can I take this anywhere and get it done?

Most Meineke's will do it. There used to be a place in Kanapolis that did custom stuff. Muffler Masters(?) P1 can do exhaust stuff as well,they are on the south side towards SC. I've been by theri for my other car, but havent actually used them. http://www.p1auto.com/

 

I remember your name from the org. Matt (SR20DEN) works at P1 some weekends so he could give an idea of what they would charge for the welding and install. The meineke on Independence near East Charlotte Nissan has done pretty good work from what I have seen for pretty cheap prices.

 

Where did you pick up your mid-pipe - local? I'd like to hear it once you get everything installed as I'm thinking of going this route vs. the HKS. TKS - M@

I have a 04 but would still grace the 06s with my presence.

 

Do any of teh shops around CLt have mandrel tubing benders? I had though about designing my own system, haven't found any shops around with mandrel tubing benders. I would be for a meet in Charlotte as well.

 

I'm pretty sure any muffler shop will be able to do it. Its nothing but welding another piece of metal tube. It would be around 8 inches. I got mine done for 70 but i bet you can find a cheaper price. Sounds very nice and i felt like it was great choice. Even though I got it for free

 

Only places I have seen that have mandrels tend to be around Mooresville for the Nascar teams. Everything else I have seen is crush bent.
