Infiniti Letter -- Brakes and rotors
Anyone else receive in the mail about the new brake and rotor coverage? it says it 'provide(s) brake maintenance on the g35 sedan or auto trans equipped G35 coupe for 3 years from the original in-service date or 36,000 miles on your odometer, whichever occurs first, at no charge'
anyone else get this letter? i got this two days ago. I guess they are doing what BMW does. i recall someone stating that BMW already covers brakes and rotors. well let me know if you got this letter.

My understanding is that those letters are all going out now. I haven't got mine yet but my dealer knows about the issue.

Hey, I haven't recieved mine yet, hope it comes soon! I did get an email response from Infiniti (I had contacted them through their website) with the wording of the letter, but no official letter yet!

I received mine this weekend. For those of you that don't have one yet, don't worry.. your dealership knows about it. If you just need that warm, fuzzy feeling you can call 800-947-9115 and listen to the recording.

Does this warranty only apply to the '03 and '03.5 owners? I should be getting my new '04 next week and I doubt that the brakes were redesigned to resolve this issue. Any '04 owners out there get this letter also?

The letter specifically says "2003 and 2004 G35 sedans and automatic transmission coupes."

I got my letter last week. Sent a copy of my registration and dealership
brake repair bill on Saturday. ($420.00) We'll see how quick they are
with cash re-imbursements.....

I got mine last friday. It's nice to know that they are taking care of us. I figure I will wear out one set, geta replacement then upgrade when the next ones wear out.

received my request for reimbursment. It was so great hearing
"your check will be mailed to your residence within the next
two weeks". This is great!

I was at the Infiniti dealership the other day (Columbus, Ohio) and talked to a service mgr re: Brake warranty. He is treating the mandate like 1 freebie on brakes and rotors and advised me to wait as close to 30,000+ miles as possible, and then get all brakes and rotors done for free.
I plan to follow this plan as closely as possible. Then after the replacement brakes/rotors go, replace with brembo's.
