Just curious, does anyone regret buying the sedan? Do you wish you sprung for the coupe? Why or whynot?

Definitely no regrets for these reasons:

* I actually think the sedan looks nicer.
* I have kids, and it's a heckuva lot easier to get them in and out.
* The backseat of the sedan also has more legroom than any of the competition.
* I can drive all my friends around comfortably.
* It's more fun to share the love of beating that bimmer in the next lane.

At first I did and was ready to "trade-up" for a red 6mt coupe.
I was going to lose $5,000.00 and it wasn't worth it.
I find it more attractive to have a "more stylish" and "roomier" car! There's definitely more "backseat room" to get your groove on...heeheee.

I figure so many people have the cpe's, why not make our sedan more unique by modifying the crap out of it?

Imagine if there is to be a "stretch G35"? I've seen an old "Q" stretched out. LOL

NO REGRETS anymore! It's a better car than my old TL-S, INTEGRA GS, and 1990 LEGEND!

Nope, not at all, I am still enjoying the hell out of my G Sedan, and I do like the styling better than the coupe, it's classier looking!

+ love the look on the ricer next to me as I take him on Gail when lanes go 2 to 1
+ lighter
+ Better turning radius (36 vs 37.4)
+ 2 extra doors!

1. insurance is less
2. 6mt sedan is a hair slower than the 6mt coupe
3. reclining rear seats. not even the 7series bmw has them
4. can fit 2 6'3"+ guys in my car without a problem
5. lighter than coupe
6. cops dont look for speeding black sedans, they look for 2dr racers like my other car.
7. almost as many mods out for the sedan as the coupe
8. bigger trunk for a bigger sound system

I had a choice between coupe and sedan and was actually going to buy the coupe because it is so beautiful. After test driving it, for my tastes it felt confining. The window ledge is higher and the seats were more narrow(better for taking hot corners) but I like to stretch out in the seats when going for a long cruise. The back seat has less head room and the trunk is tiny. The sedan is like a 5 series BMW and for long term comfort, I opted for the sedan. Insurance is less too. Someday I might get the coupe and keep the sedan as well. One for weekday commutes and the coupe for weekends. Both for the price of a 7 series BMW...can't beat that!!

 

Oh, I forgot the insurance cost, yes, yes, yes! It went way down from my Mustang GT vert!!!

NO, Regret. Its the best family sedan until they make a 4 dr GT-R version or when I feels a BMW 545i or Mercedes E500 can justify their price tag. Just one complaint tho, give me back my missing 20 hp.

Well I'm still waiting on my 6mt sedan ( still hoping for this week!!)...but in making my decision I considered all the things mentioned above plus the fact that a fully loaded sedan was going to be at least 2 grand less than a fully loaded coupe and with more equipment, not to mention that most dealers are making significant deals when negotiating price (I got less than $700 over invoice w/no additional fees). I could not find peace in my spirit over the additional cost and paying MSRP.

I initially fell for the sedan when the first photos came out...then the coupe came on the seen and blew me away, it was like chosing between two beautiful women...one hot, steamy and high maintenance, the other proper and more practical. With consistent 14.2 - 14.3 quarters (6mt) it's been shown that there is virtually no loss in performance in chosing the sedan (proper can be very hot and steamy, when it's time:>) and for families the sedan is just a better choice. Also, I test drove the 03.5 6mt sedan and the 03.5 350 Z and to me the sedan just pulled harder, had a better ride quality and all around just felt better!! The sedan is a sustantial vehicle and long term I think it will perform well and continue to look great. I really can not wait to take delivery.

I've got a good buddy that thinks his 3 series BMW is all that...boy does he have a surprise coming:>))

Coupe was not available when I bought my Sedan, the first time I saw a coupe, It looked awesome, but after 12 months of driving my sedan and looking all coupes on the road, I actually think the looks of sedan last longer, specially if you dress up the sedan like many sedan owners did with body kits, it looks much better than coupes (more like a race car), and I'd go for 350Z iif I really want a agressive looking sports car.

No regrets. I was looking for a sports sedan. That's the kind of car I like for a daily driver. Plus, people expect the coupe to be quick, they don't expect it from the sedan.

I love my sedan. The main reason we bought the Sedan was it had four doors. We Traded in my wifes Eclipse so there was no way I wanted another coupe.

No regrets really but I wish Infiniti would use the coupe 18" wheels and brembos on the sport sedan. That would make one hot ride.

I love my sedan..and if I could.. i dont think i would sell it to get a coupe..

- need the space
- trunk in coupe is way tooo small for 2 12inch subs
- i like the looong body of the sedan

the coupe does seem to have more mods for it tho

 

Exactly my thoughts about the coupe vs the 350z. Everyone at work wondered why I got the sedan when I could have gotten the coupe. If I wanted a 2-door, I would have much rather gone for a loaded 350z than a g35c. Plus, I don't like the hood on the coupe - looks like something honda would make.
