dmn!! thats crazy. but when buying it, do i have to worry if its for coupes or sedans?

this may be off topic, (this applies to everyone) when your rims were installed, you guys have the shop switch out your oem lug nuts? or did you guys still have them on?

Do you mean aftermarket rims? My wheels were delivered mounted on the rims, so I put them on myself...but to answer your question....yes, I switched them out with "tuner lugs" along w/ some wheel lock lugs.

^ yup, thats what i meant. they are using the same stock lugs on my aftermarket wheels. i saw the inside of the hole where the lug nuts screw into. its chewed up a little. You can see swirl marks along the inside.

see, the markings.

I brought the SPC front and Rear camber kit on eBay brand new I got them for 586.00 including shipping to Hawaii do a search on eBay for SPC under suspension in the parts and accessories section. The rear camber and toe bolt kit cost me $130 dollars and the front kit was $320.00 I got them because it was a good deal. I have 350z springs in the front and G35 coupe springs in the rear. I figured if I need them it would be good to have them available since I haven't taken my car in for an alignment yet because I wanted the springs to settle first.

You do realize that those marks are not there just because they used OEM lugs, right? All that is is from the ratchet/socket they used to remove the lugs...it will happen regardless of what kind of lugs you have. They sell sockets that have a sleeve on them (plastic) to avoid scratching the inners up, or I also believe I've heard lf "thin walled sockets", but I personally never looked hard enough to find them.

or you can just get spline drive lug nuts that are made to work with aftermarket wheels that have small lug openings. even the thin wall sockets with plastic sleeves on them can make little swirl marks in the lug hole.

I only bought a rear camber kit for my G

no good - the allignment guy brought in the rear wheels in too much (within spec tho) The front wheels look more neg-camby by eye. none the less, I miss the neg camb - car doesnt handle nearly as good as it did with the excess camb.

moral of the story - keep the wheels at max neg camb as you can get...im still looking for an affordable neg camb kit for the front... as far as I know, the SPC front camb kit comes with both an A arm and a spacer that instals behind the knuckle (or hub, forgot). the A arm is for adjusting caster and the "spacer" (whatever they called it) is for the camb... I dont need caster adjustment! just give me the camber adjustment!

the upper A-arm is for adjusting camber, the plates are for caster adjustment.

is there any other way to add adjustment to camber? if not, where are these SPC kits selling from!?!?!

this guy said the plates help with neg camb adjustment...https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-suspension-diy/120507-my-spc-arm-installation.html

you only need the plates/spacers if you need alot of positive camber adjustment. you can get atleast +1 degrees with just the a-arms. Another good front camber kit is the SPL, it has more than 2 degrees of positive adjustment, i've got a guy that i do alignments for with this kit and just for $hits and giggles i adjusted his front camber from -1.6 to positive 0.9 with plenty of room left to go more. His front camber is now at -0.5.

With the SPC rear camber kit and toe bolts I can correct both camber and toe correct? I hear of people wanting to buy rear toe arms or whatever, isnt the toe bolt what you need to correct the toe on the rear? By the way, how are these kits compared to stock camber arms, material and performance wise. Would it change anything in performance wise and are they actually good arms?

I put my Tein coilovers and SPC rear camber kit on this week. Not hard at all.

The alignment shop had no problem getting my car back into spec in the rear, he front camber is just a little out. I'm not worried about the fronts, 245/35/20's are cheap compared to the 275/30's on the rear. It would take a lot of miles to make the $350 front camber kit worth it.
