Yes, the wheel is twisted...i think it is the situation you just described...and the estimate will be around that...but the thing that i dont understand is that how come the wheel cant take the force of the turn?I think i've sild on the black ice when i was doing that right turn...thank you for the information. I will tell them to look carefully at the suspension and for sure i will smart up next time. tank you

Re: never drunk and drive

You're honestly going to compare drunk driving to speeding or rolling stops? You're even more foolish than I thought...Unless you're speeding at a ridiculous rate you won't be going to jail for it, so I fail to see the comparison...A few miles over the posted limit doesn't draw the same kind of reaction from law enforcement as driving while under the influence...And let's see, how many times have I driven while drunk? NONE. And how many times have I wrecked my rides? NONE. I've made all types of mistakes in my life- I constantly make mistakes...But I haven't killed anyone yet, and I haven't done anything to come close to killing anyone...Glad to see that my point about all of us driving a premium vehicle and therefore being able to afford a limo or cab went right over your head...Not surprised at all

Re: never drunk and drive

Driving a few miles over the speed limit is also less dangerous than driving drunk at half the speed limit.. because your senses and your reaction time are working 100%. A sober person makes a conscious decision to roll through a stop at a barren intersection. A drunk person sees the stop sign, and by the time the brain registers what the red thing means and tells the foot to press the brake pedal, the car's already half-way through the intersection -- and the drunk brain hasn't noticed whether or not there are other cars around. There are enough people around that can't handle this much car when they're sober.. no need to add to their troubles.

Now, as a moderator, I must ask all of ya'll to stop referring to this guy as a loser and an idiot on this forum. Feel free, however, to bash drunk drivers in general.

The wheel can take the force of the turn just fine; it can't take the force of hitting something with the weight of the the car pressing on it! In order to do what you descrive to your wheels, you absolutely had to hit something.

Oh, and here is what $5000 of suspension damage in the back looks like:

Re: never drunk and drive

Dont talk law with me, law is unfair as we see in court in many cases. The purpose of law is to protect rich people and protect their wealth. I still believe that speeding can kill people. Do you know what are speed limits for?

"The purpose of law is to protect rich people and protect their wealth."

lol subrobo... oh my God, don't even try to go there. i don't agree with that (and i hope that you were kidding). you might even re-open the pandora's box of "rich people who were given their Gs vs. people who worked for their Gs." let's move on...

And there it is!! Let's make this about social status and bank accounts! I love it...Sorry, Ryoken- this guy is an idiot and a loser and I can't believe he can even manage to turn his computer on...I don't care if I seem like a dick about this either- this is ludicrous...If you don't like the condition of the legal system you are subject to, move to a different country...Whatever country you are in, whatever state you are in, you are subject to that place's laws...That argument you pose has no validity, and your comments only make you look that much more foolish

Re: never drunk and drive

Aaaaand we're done. Dang, I leave you people for like 24 hours and look what happens. Drunk driving is bad, we all know it, and he knows it.

SnM-- go post "drunk drivers" under the "Things I Hate" post. Extrapolate.

g35girl-- yeah, PLEASE let's not get into that again. Oy. Why must we argue differences we can't control?

Everyone-- Let's strip down to our underwear and sing camp songs.

Everyone with technical knowledge-- how can we halp him get his car fixed?
