Anything around 40-45mm in the rear should be fine. And for rear tire choice i would go straight for 275/30s. Tire choice for the front should be around 235/35s maybe even 30s..

Are you sure 275 would be right on a 9" wheel? I would've thought 235 or 245. Isn't 275 good for 10" wheels? 275 is almost 11" wide, that would be some serious bulge, right?

245/45 is run on a 8-8.5" wheel, so on a nine you could run a 255, 265 or 275 and be fine.

look at the specs here:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.j...irePageLocQty=

look at each tire size and it tells you what width wheel is applicable.

Im on 275/30s on 8.5s and no bulge.

You should be fine, your rim will be half a inch wider then mine. You might be able to bump it up to 35s in the rear.
