I am so glad I didn't buy the I 35

Today I took my G in for service. They gave me and I35 loaner. It's an okay car but nothing like driving my G. I considered it when we were car shopping. The dealer was giving $5k off of msrp. I could have gotten a fully loaded one with NAV for about $27K. After owning my G for a while and driving this loaner, I am glad I went with the G

Totally different ride bro. The 'I' is nice but a front driver and not so performance oriented as our G's are. I found the I35 a little soft and similar to my Max in handling and performance. Good, but nothing like my G.
Is this the last year for the I35?
Enjoy.

I think I35 is not that bad. My wife has one and it drives great, more comfortable and spacious than my G. However, I can't drive it like my G. Otherwise, it'll start screeching whenever I try to push it like I do with my G.

It's a lovely ride, even nicer than my 2k2 Max I had. But it can't compare to the handling and performance of our G's tho.
It just hasn't got the balance, power, suspension (or rear drive).
I certainly wouldn't pass one up as a 2nd car tho. lol.

I think it all depends what you are looking for. Some people looking for comfort, quiet cabin, bouncy feeling, will choose the I. The ones that choose performance over comfort/sound, want a range of mods, RWD, will choose the G. Again, 2 different platforms for 2 different drivers. Good to have both though, or for the same price, get performance, power, luxury, comfort, quietness all in a Q! lol

I had an I loaner. Nice luxury ride but no G, of course. Interesting that Nissan saved it from the chopping block as '03 was to be its last year. Now that the Maxima has gone mod, the I still has alot to offer the lineup.
