3rd Oil Analysis.. doesn't look good

Re: 3rd Oil Analysis.. doesn't look good
I didn't do an analysis of the original oil, and only started to perform them because I wanted to ensure that the M1 and the VQ, would work well in harmony for the duration of a 7500 mile ODI. The match-up seems a little questionable... at least with the 5W30; I'm running 10W30 now but have been told that there's not much difference in thickness between these two formulations of M1.
As far as bearing wear, I do not have my ASE or anything close, in fact I don't even know what and where bearings are in the engine. Simply put, I've been "told" that lead in an analysis is an indication of bearing wear.

That's what I hear too, but I also hear that the VQ engines have a longer-than-average break-in period compared to other engines, with regard to lead wear. So, maybe it will pan out eventually?

I've heard from a couple of the locals that the VQ engine continues to break in slowly until about 14,000 miles (~24,000 km)! I believe it was one of the reasons that Infiniti techs recommend that you wait until after this period before using synthetic oils. I debated about this myself and finally decided to use up my old supply of oil for the first few oil changes, and didn't use synthetic until almost 20,000 km on the clock. Also it was either that or give away some perfectly good dino juice.
