Re: What happened to Sedan exhausts

STILLEN Sedan Exhausts began shipping today! Hopefully you haven't given up yet. After 5 prototype designs and over 2-months of testing, we're happy to make the announcement:

Our Stainless Steel Dual Exhaust Systems are now Available! It is Steel Catback System comprised of an X-Pipe, Polished Stainless Twin Resonators, and a Polished Stainless Dual Path Muffler - (two in / two out) and of course, Polished Stainless Tips. The entire system is only 4-components and installs in less than an hour at a workshop. We are offering Sedan Customers 22 HP at the flywheel Gains (19 at the wheels)!

Cheers!

Re: What happened to Sedan exhausts

2FST4U,

At what RPM are these HP gains? Also what kind of torque improvement can we expect? Is low-end torque improved? And finally what does the system weigh? Thanks for the info.

Take care,

85% of 22 is about 19.

Re: What happened to Sedan exhausts

I second amg35's question. What is the torque change throughout the RPM range, especially under 3000? I don't want to lose low end torque after removing the sedan stock exhaust valve. HP increases above 6000 or peak HP gains at 6500 are almost completely useless with my driving style.

Re: What happened to Sedan exhausts

Just from the looks of the system it looks good. As far as performance I'll wait for the official dyno charts.

Re: What happened to Sedan exhausts

Remember in the dyno shoot of 350Z systems posted somewhere around here that the stillen made the second most hp, but a lot more torque than the number one hp producing exhaust.

My custom exhaust system copies the stillen exhaust, except I have high flow cats and dual Injen SES mufflers, for what it's worth, I got significant power gains from it(no I haven't dyno'd yet). If my system were stollen (I know silly), I'd replace it with the stillen system in a heart beat.

Dang straight, it's all about the glory of helping. Who have you helped today?

Re: What happened to Sedan exhausts

You should see improvment in lowend torque, and upper end power. That is the advantage of an x-pipe. I don't know hw this system in particular will augment power, but in general, this is the case.

Re: What happened to Sedan exhausts

Better late then never:-))

I'm sorry that the systems have taken so long to arrive. Seems that it was worth the wait, and I don't have to worry about excuses!!

Cheers to the core sedan owners that made this system possible - you know who you are.

I will be contacting all ofthe people with reservations immediately.

Please contact and refer to me personally for questions/orders.

Now it's time for another sedan item...........

To finish my previous post. The Torque gain on the STILLEN Catback Sedan Exhaust is 22-lb.ft.

Cheers!
