How to make '06 G35x quieter - any ideas??

I have a relative who owns an '06 G35x and wants the exhaust to be quieter. Would switching the midpipe to one from an '03 or '04 model do this? Does anyone in the NY area have one they want to sell me? Thanks in advance.

Yes the 03-04 midpipe will make it quieter.

when I get the 06 loaner it is significantly louder than my 04...The must have changed something. But it is also an X that is a loaner so maybe the piping is just different on the X

Wow! That's something. That exhaust note is what makes me forget/overlook the average interior of the 1st gens! Dynomat...especially in the trunk and wheel well areas.

Dynomat won't work for exhaust issues. It's not meant too.

eDead v4 Teklite will work. It's designed to get the higher frequencies the regular deadening misses.
