Dual Mufflers for G35 Sedan

Anyone here modified their G35 sedan to dual mufflers like the new 2007 G35 sedan or G35 Coupe style? I am thinking to modify my 4 door G to look like 2007 G35, do you know if it's possible?

One guy did it a while ago, he had to relocate the gass tank, otherwise
it sit on top of the muffler.

Not a practical Mod.

with enough money you can do it, but its not worth it IMO.

no, you don't have to move the gas tank. the gas tank is under the rear seat. What needs to be moved are the evap. emissions junk which are located in the right rear of the car under the bumper.

^+1 the gas tank is no where it would need to be moved.

Who is this person that has done it before? In all my time on here I have never seen this thread?

I would like to do it, just have not taken the time to get it up on a lift and try it out. Need to talk to UMS about spending a day playing around.

years ago before I owned a G, I seriously considered buying one and used to study the sales brochure (back in 2003) In that brochure, it had a great picture of the underside of the G sedan. It certainly looked possible, but I don't know what it is involved in moved the EVAP stuff.

Yeah, there's pictures somewhere on here of a member who did it (I couldn't find them just now). I'm a huge fan of dual exhaust, but the install I saw didn't look that good....the exhaust ports were too close together & not far enough apart. Maybe someone else will find it. Not worth the $ though IMO. Go w/ an aftermarket sport muffler.

i was thinking of modifying something like these . maybe doing one dual in dual out muffler in the center or two single mufflers v mounted under the car somewhere and running the pipes to the rear like this LS

there isnt a rear bumper that has clearence for 2 pipes. you would probably have to custom custom fabricate that too.
