Nismo Front Bumper

Okay once again I am going to start this post, because I need a accurate acount of how many people will be interested in getting a Replica of the Nismo Front Bumper. If there enough people he will start the process immediatly and should have them finished right after near the end of Jan.
If you are interested to see what the Nismo Bumper for the coupe looks like that they copied you can see it here http://www.350zforums.org/store/?pag...7d80b9af75a5d3

I am sorry this taking so long but I would like to get one for that price as I am sure other people would to. If there are more than 20 the price will go lower

Re: Nismo Front Bumper

Interested, but what are all those holes near where the front license plate would NOT go in my case?

Re: Nismo Front Bumper

This sounds and looks like it's for Coupe. If I recall correctly, your first post regarding "Nismo Front Bumper" back in October was for Sedan. What happened?
Anything for sedan yet or do we sedan owners have to wait for the coupe's success first? I'm very interested in the Nismo bumper for the sedan and I'm sure a lot of people are interested also.... Just curious....

Re: Nismo Front Bumper

Like I said in the post the picture is of a coupes front bumper, that was just an example for everyone to see that it is a quality piece and not cheap looking. The material is fiberglass. And the reason there are holes in the front bumper is because the bumper that they copied the first time had a front license plate.

Count me in if the price is right! BTW, I got a noobie question. What is the difference in quality between fiberglass and urethane?

Re: Nismo Front Bumper

Urathane is urathane, the material quality is basically the same accross the board. Fiberglass can be made well or poorly. It depends on how many layers there are, and with how much skilll they were layed. The reason i asked however, is because fiberglass cracks when urathane bends. Hit a curb with fiberglass, and you've got a ruined bumper, hit a curb with urathane, and you just damage the paint.

Some urathane parts have a problem with them though (as the front bumper I had on my 2k2 Maxima had.) This is that there is a anti-adhesive put into the mold to prevent the urathane from sticking, but sometimes that substance is mixed in with the urathane before it is poored. For the paint to be able to stick, the part must first be baked numerous times and scrubbed very well each time.

Each material has its own advantages.

Re: Nismo Front Bumper

Thanks for the clarification. Yes, I'm interested as well, looks good for the coupe. But still would like to see the sedan bumper they are copying and the price first before deciding. Please keep us posted.

Re: Nismo Front Bumper

Okay I got all the information back from the supplier, heres the deal: For 15 people the price will be $399.00, if we get 15 it will be ready in about a month. What I need everyone to do is start a list on this post who is interested, with your email add. and I will contact you after your name is on the list. I'm a burn out so this is the easy way for me to keep track.-
