Not really, the sound is well worth the money. It is just a muffler.

I don't have any drone - just finished a 350 mile drive and unless I was in city traffic (stop-n-go) I could not tell it was on the car.

Nope no problem whatsoever. Just direct bolt on. I think all you need are two 14mm sockets. Shoot me a PM if you want to come look at the car this weekend so I could let me lil brother cruise it up toward that way.

Not true. For the HKS to fit an 05-06 you need to buy the 03-04 exhaust bracket that mounts to the underside of the car as well as the two rubber hangers. The 05-06s have a different bracket and won't work with the HKS. The bracket is around $30 or something. Once you have the bracket then it should be a direct bolt up.

Oh I meant for the older g. Mine is a 03 and it was a direct bolt-on with no problem.

Update - completed install of the Gordgee kit this weekend (#7 and TCU) along with ECU reset. I can't say which of the two made the change, but the sound is much better especially at start-up.

Would a mid-pipe/y-pipe combo work from a coupe to a sedan??.........Is there anything I would have to do or is it all bolt on?...
I have the mid but waiting to see if I should get the Ypipe from the coupe...

The G sedan, G coupe, and the 350Z all use the same exhaust manifolds, cats, and y-pipe.
