Nismo aero rear install question

Is it possible to install the rear aero piece without removing the rear bumper, or do I have to do the dirty and remove it? Thanks

its possible because I believe TTRANK did it without removing the rear.....but I have heard it is very hard to reach and will need "special tools" and also aligning the aero part is hard when you're laying down on the ground. I would just take it off and save yourself someheadaches, sweats, and time.

Yeah I did it in my garage one day. It was not too hard. Just take your time. The only tool that helped me a lot was a skew driver, it's a right angle drill adapter which I used to make some of the holes.

I can't say if it would be easier to take off the rear or not. I was in a rush so I did it that way. It took me ~1-1.5 hours.

You don't need to take it off...but I spent a good 4 hours to install that because I didn't want to jack the car up and take the bumper off...

Yet, it is definitely do-able

Did you also install the front bumper cover? If so, were you able to use your stock front license plate cover? I wasn't able to fit my stock license plate cover to my front aero bumper cover. Guess I'll have to buy a new one.

I don't believe it will work. What color is yours? I need to decide but I might be willing to sell you mine since it's not on there anymore.

My aero bumpers plate cover is actually a different size than the stock plate cover. Mine came with the bumper so i was covered. You can try to order one from the dealer... doesn't hurt to call and ask

Find out how much one is from the dealer and let me know. I have the one from mine that I might be willing to sell you. My car is OB.

I called the dealer and they only sell the license plate cover for the stock bumper. They don't even have a license plate cover listed for the "aero" bumper. PM me if you're still willing to sell it.

Yeah I'll sell it. Let me go make sure I still have it and I'll let you know. How about $40 shipped? If you car is black you are in luck because it also have the 3M clear bra on it.
