Rolling or Cutting

ok i have the Sevas S-7's in black...but like everyone knows...i NEED to get rid of my fenders..(275/30R20 tires)

i have two options..one shop who is really far away says 100 bucks to roll them with the tool..i had called another shop with the tool close to me but they said they wont do it for me because i didnt buy my whels from them...

and then theres my local body shop right down the street from me where i get ALL my body work done at
they said they would CUT my fenders off..for 100 bucks .but i dont know if this would be too great of an idea

please someone tell me they have cut them and that it turned out ok...i need to do this soon...im rubbing like Crazy

Never heard of cutting the fenders, and the other place doesn't wanna do it because you didn't buy from them? Shady IMO.

I would either look around more or just go to the far away place.

what you should do is vut the fenders every 2 inches or so then flatten them(roll them) makes it easier and less likely to crack or chip the paint! if you have a Dremel you can do it yourself! and if you cut the fenders off then when you bottom out if you bottom out there will be a sharpe edge that will cut the Shyt out of you tires!

my car is dropped and have about an inch to put a bat in there...not only that...but that can possibl damage the paint and cause an uneven fender man...leave the Bat rooling to the hondas

also the guy would sand down that edgae and leave it rounded ( it will be the same edge the fender has already on the inside...so it wount cut...ittle just leave and very dull rounded edge

it also matters how low your car is. He has 8.5/10 +40. You can roll them yourself without cracking the paint. Just follow the DIY 'accordfreak' did a couple weeks ago. PVC pipe and a heat gun/blow dryer will do it. I had to use a 1/2" pvc pipe since my fenders are a little less than a half inch between the fenders and tire.

there's no way you have a +45 offset with the sevas, they've never been made in anything but a +40...

ha, well they definitely didnt know what they were talkin about. AutoMotiveMods is the biggest seller of Sevas wheels in the world and he's told me they dont make them in anything but a +40 for the sedan.
