Does anyone have this same problem of a popping noise?

As I'm driving, I hear this noise every once in a while...its just a pop that sounds like its coming from either my suspension or muffler...now driveability wise, the car runs fine, the check engine light isn't on...initally I thought it was a suspension problem but the noise has also happened when I'm in a complete stop...some people has told me that it could be backfiring in the exhaust...maybe some unburned fuel in the exhaust thats being ignited and one other person has told me that it could be my exhaust metals flexing and popping in and out of shape...now I do live in canada and its been cold the last few months and that is when I started hearing these noises...it sounds like somebody popped a balloon under your car...oh yeah and I think I also heard it when the car was off too right after I got out and was walking into my house so I think that would give some validity to the metals flexing and it only seems to happen after the car warms up...if anyone else has this problem let me know...thanks!!

My exhaust ticks alot when it's hot, but not popping like a balloon.

I've heard the same exact thing, usually when I'm first getting goin. My theory is its just ice/snow/slush built up in the wheel well. it doesnt happen every day, only rarely, and it does sould liek its comming from suspension. I think its all good man; it never happens in summer.

Canadian eh? good on ya, Ottawa here! (go sens)

yeah sounds like we have the same problem...but I hear it at least once everytime I drive...I seriously think it has something to do with the exhaust system but I'm not 100% sure

I agree with the new players but I like Maurice and you can't change the jersey...its the original 6 jersey...Toronto is like the New York Yankees...either you love them or you hate em!...too bad they're not as good as the yankees though
