The shipper needs to put in the claim.

as annoying as it may be to get it damaged, I don't think it's something to lose sleep over. A good shop will straigthen it out with little effort. As for filing a claim with UPS, if you didn't sign it "DAMAGED" when you received it, UPS won't even look at your claim.

i am just a little annoyed i have to go through this process to fix it i am not stressing out over it but thanx for the info.

If they just left it without a sig you can still put in a claim, I have done it.
