Just finished lowering the wifes G....

I dropped it on Z unrevised springs and she now loves the car even more than before. It took me about 3 hours doing it by myself. It's not that bad for anyone that somewhat handy with some basic hand tools you can do this. It took me all of 25 min to do the rear springs both sides. The fronts did take a tad bit longer.

Overall I'm happy with the drop and she seems to be happy with the ride still. I will drive it for the rest of the week and get an aligment this Friday.

I will post pictures this weekend after I clean up the car a little.

Thanks for everyone that did write up's on lowering the G.

Very nice. A good set of springs should be one of the first mods anyone does.

I just got my g lowered on unrevised 3 days ago as well. Surprisingly, the ride feels exactly the same as before. However, the front still seems pretty high to me (compared to other fellow Gs with Z springs..) Hopefully it'll get a tiny bit lowerer after a week?

Give it some time to settle. Depending on how agressive you drive, it should settle more in a week. I installed 350z/coupe springs on my sedan to level off the wheel gap.

To what spec are you guys going to align them to? I've heard to align them to same year Coupe and I've also heard to align them closests to Sedan spec.

Are their actual spec #'s or do you just tell them to align it to such and such car?

The only difference in the sedan vs. coupe specs is that the to get within sedan specs the camber isnt as aggressive, the coupe specs are more aggressive, if you want it to look pretty on paper then get it in the coupe specs. The toe specs are the same for the sedan, coupe and 350z.
