Cracked Windshield Estimate

I had a rock into my windshield a couple years ago. I had the chip repair service done for about $40. Cosmetically, it didn't work out as well as another time I had that done, but since it is on the passenger side near the roof, doesn't bother me while driving. At least it didn't spread.
Just before I bought my G35, while I was on vacation in the previous car, I ended up with 2 rocks in windshield, one of which spread. Replaced that for just $30 more than the deductible, so didn't claim it.

depends which state you live in whether or not glass coverage will even be offered. In CA it is typically excluded from a policy, or they hit you with a $250 deductible which when saddled with the extra $$ for coverage it almost makes it not worth it. AZ offers $0 deductible for glass so if you live there like TT it's a good deal. Check with your insurance company and they will tell you if it is a covered option or not. If so I'd sugest picking it up especially if you do a lot of highway driving and as long as the deductible is not out of control.
