HKS 04 Sedan muffler Bracket issue

I only got one rubber hanger from my bracket kit. Everythingg35 is telling me to use both the 05 hanger and the 04 hanger...

did anyone else get only one hanger w/ their bracket kit? if so, how did you mount it....i dun want to remove my new bracket to put my old one on and find out it rubs

you have 1 bracket on your car right now...but you need 2 to hold the hks, therefore you have a bracket kit to add onto the existing bracket on your car....1 (on your car) + 1 (from the bracket kit) = 2.

yea, but the 05 hangers are different. I will have to bend my 05 rubber hanger to make it hold up...just seems a little messy. might as well get the other hanger

I had the same issue Neal and I gave up trying making that stupid hanger fit properly. I took the muffler to a local shop, cut both hangers and welded them back on to make them fit my '05 OEM brackets. $40 later it's perfectly tight and straight.

im gonna just order the second hanger. IMHO its pretty STUPID that they sell only one rubber hanger. thats very very cheap

It is stupid. There was a big issue a while back with this and I thought EverythingG35 said they were going to start sending both rubber hangers. Evidently not. Order another one and you will be fine.

When I ordered mine from Riverside I got lucky because they sent both hangers.

the borla sounds like the HKS, nice and quiet. im sure you can buy the borla than have it modified at an exhaust shop to fit

hey guys, i'm going to take my hks muffler to a muffler shop and have them cut and weld the new hangers to fit the stock brackets.

my question is: which hanger on the muffler do i have to cut? i two hanging closest to the tip of the muffler (the two shiny hangers)? or the one hanger on the tube (black color hanger)?

yeah my questions do sound dumb.
