I think only the dealer can do that. I've heard something about someone drilling a hole in the throttle body somewhere that raised the idle Nto real sure though

Oh these modern cars! The last car I attempted an idle adjustment on was my new 1986 Miutsubishi Galant. I thought the idle was a little low, so I pulled out the shop manual to find the idle adjustment screws. I started reading the section on idle adjustment, thinking it would be like my other cars, outboards and lawnmowers I'd adjusted for years, etc. Step number one was "Insert your oxygen sensor into the tailpipe" and I knew I was out of luck, since no regular person had an oxygen sensor. I haven't adjusted a car idle since.

My dealer adjusted mine at the last oil change, but they have the right computers and other equipment.

if your idle is low, maybe you have a vacuum leakk somewhere.

I had the dealer up mine for me when they put in my new tranny with the UR flywheel. You need to have them do it.

I had to raise mine because it is easier to stall with a lightweight flywheel. Some also need to raise it for cams.

funny, always thought mine was too high. takes nearly a year for the ****er to warm up. if i turn it on and put it into gear, it will lurch fowards. i always need to let it sit for a minute or so after startup...thats why i am scared to hand the keys to valets etc. etc...
