Mud flaps
Re: Mud flaps
Re: Mud flaps
FYI...I ordered front and rear splash guards from g35accessories.com about 6 weeks ago. I received the fronts in 4 weeks and I'm still waiting for the rears. They keep telling me they're on back order. If I ever get them, I'll post pics.

Re: Mud flaps
Thanks, the picture is not very good to really see what they look like standing back from the car. I'll be interested if anyone has pictures standing back getting a full view.
Thanks!

Re: Mud flaps
No pics to share but I placed a set on my sedan at the dealership. Although they're well made, I'm leaving well enough alone. The guards detract from the G's clean lines. And the wheelwells are sufficiently wide at the bottom to catch most road debris. This will be my first Japanese car to not have splash guards.

Re: Mud flaps
Thanks htbomb, that is what I was wondering about. How much does the flaps take away the flow of the car. The G
doesn't seem to really need them.

Re: Mud flaps
I agree with htbomb. The mudflaps don't do much for the lines of the car for me. Also heard that the front ones damage easily going over speed bumps.
Driving in the slushy stuff, less seems to accumulate down just behind the tires than in other cars I've ever driven, rather, the dirty road spray seems to accumulate pretty evenly all up the sides of the car, not directly from tire spray.
This will be the first car that I won't be installing mudflaps as well.
