Hello G35

Today I went ahead and purchased by 2004 G35 sedan. Which is an automatic Twilight Blue with Willow Interior, Premium and Sports package. I couldn't help but being so proud driving this lovely beauty home.

I have been a lurker on this board for a few months and was anxiously waiting to purchase the G35S. However, I had to wait to sell my 2K1 Celica GTS which was modded. But after a few years of owning the Celica I quickly grew out of the phase of modding and the dealing of the headaches that came with modding the car.

It was time for me to move on to a more sophisticated 4 door sports sedan, and to me there was no better choice then the G.

So a big Thanks to you all for keeping new and existing buyers always well informed about this car.

~Cheers

Let me be the first to say-- welcome! You'll love your car as you drive it more... I love that color, only wish it was available on the 03.5 models. I'm in a black sedan, but you can almost tell no difference until you get right up on them. Beautiful. All the best,

G

Good choice! I've had my G35 for two months now, and still feel as good as the day I drove it off the lot! I had my eye on a TB until I saw the Brilliant Silver with the Graphite Interior and chrome wheels!

Good Choice! You picked in my opinion the best colour combo you could. I picked up the first 2004 in that combo that my dealership brought in. When i took the car in for service, all the services guys were commenting on how great it looks . Everytime you drive the car you'll love it even more.

Great Choice

I get excited every time I get in my G. This after 13 months and 12,000 miles of ownership.

Re: Hello G35

You should talk to others about the break-in. I've been told to keep it below 4K rpm, but I've also been told after 500mi, to open it up to at least 6K in 2nd gear a few times to 'seal the valves'. Don't really understand all the technical stuff, but I opened it up a few times after 500 mi.

Don't forget to make a call and order your Zaino! (and Dawn). Welcome to the G club!

Welcome and congrats!!! With about 750 miles on my G at this point, I can tell you that it only gets better! I can not keep up with all the excuses I've made to get out and drive:>) My wife just looks at me and shakes her head...you made the most solid choice in this price range and you'll feel it every time you press the pedal!!

Have fun, keep your eyes open and be safe!! Had an older Maxima almost run me off the road this weekend...but the G handled very well and speed was our friend!!

G35S 6MT!! DIAM GRAPH/ GRAPH BELLS WHISTLES...DEFINETLY WORTH THE WAIT!!!
