Air Conditioning issue...Please Help....My most Important feature isn't working

I just installed an AVIC D3 and all is well except for the auto function on my AC...right now it just blows full blast no matter what the temperature is in the car....I quoted below a conversation with me and Jason from Riverside (I'm sure he doesn't mind)....What he is saying actually makes alot of sense the sensor or whatever that controls or monitors the airflow is seperate from the AC Controller and I'm thinking when the guys put the dash back on the drivers side they left it disconnected or something....Does anybody know if I can fix this myself or what exactly I need to do??

I spoke to 2 of my friends in my car club that have this kit installed....

There is a cover under the drivers side dash where the OBDII is connected to... After you pull down that piece, there is a tube and a connector (right on the top of the tube)... This tube / connector has to be disconnected to get to the side piece of the center console so you can install the double din assembly...

During the install, the tube and connector may not have been re-installed correctly...
Interesting...Is there any way you can point me in the right direction for more info on this...I'm gonna take it back to the installers but i kinda need to know exactly how to state my case
These are the best pictures of it i could find online... it is under the dash when the panel is removed from the drivers side...

it is the rubber hose with the sensor plugged in on the end...

I know this could be considered a Tech question but I figure this chat gets more traffic and I would get a faster reply

The auto function on the AC is all that I use and now I cant

ooh while we're on this topic of a/c, mine doesnt seem to be doing any type of temperature besides cold or really hot. it will only turn cold when i set it at 60, and every single other setting i.e 61-90, the ac goes to the hottest setting, even on a hot day.

any suggestions?
