Wow, that does SUCK!!!!!! Not nearly as bad as the guy who left the rags near the halogen light in his garage near his G and the G bursting into flames.....

I'd be worried about electrical and mold/mildew.

I did that once before in a Range Rover. I had some malfunctions that didn't go away so I removed panels to access circuit boards and found corrosion from the moisture. I carefully cleaned, removed corrosion and dried everything. Reinstalled everything and was ok. Another time I did it in a BMW. I wiped down like you have and was ok. Just depends, but problems CAN develop.

This happened with my wife's car - I had to pull the seats out and then remove all the carpet so the pad could dry out in the sun. Total PITA.

Right now everything seems functional..

Im letting the car sit in my driveway with the heat all the way up and the windows slightly down so hte moisture can escape...

hopefully this doesnt cause any problems

I'd take a rain sensing sunroof over rain sensing wipers any day.

^yep.......My bro left it open in his Lexus 470. Next morning nav did not work and some other electronics. He took it to the dealer and left with a loaner. When he got back home he got a call from the dealer that the car is fully functional. They just got it in the shop, turned it on and it all worked. So I guess all you need is to dry it off and you good to go.

^yeah turning something on is not a good idea.
Put a heater in there and just run it for few hours on max. With windows open a little for the moisture to escape. Your should not have any problems.

The best plan would be to pull the carpet and let it dry. Otherwise you may end up with mold. My friend did the same thing in his civic and ended up having to replace the carpet because he had too much mold.

^^+1 remove as much as you can, if not everything....

Let it all dry outside.....Wipe down evrything that has become wet and leave ur doors open so that everything inside can dry...

What may seem like alot of work now will save you $$ and time later...

If not just be prepaired for a funky smelling G....
