with only 19K miles, I wouldn't pay an extra penny... you should have MANY more trouble free miles.

i wouldnt, you have plenty of major-prob free miles left on it.

so the basic warranty is 3 yrs/ 40k miles? right? my car is an 05. i bought it aug.06'...so that leaves me until....?....aug. 08??

No, it's 4 year/60,000-miles.
