SPC A Arm install -G35x- First Attempt

The Arm went in fine

but the bolt that fastened the A Arm to the knuckle ran out of thread. the bushing didnt seem to provide any sort of resistance to the fastener. as a result - the fastener just spun and compressed the bushing untill it ran out of thread.

EDIT: I'm Stupid - need to follow directions more often!!

had to reuse the cone on the stock bushing...forgot to do that!













as you see, the fastener is torqued down all the way (to the end of the threads) but i can easily compress the bushing with my two fingers

He is suppose to use a Hub Puller to take the cone off the original A-Arms and install them on the SPC camber arms

nah i put the stock arms back in after i took the pictures

i will try tom...but i need to buy a tool to remove the rubber cone from the stock arm. I dun know what to get

i just used the open end of a 7/8" combo wrench and pryed that sucker off... didnt feel too nice when it hit me right in the chest, but it got the damn thing off!

im gonna borrow a puller from napa...
I'll do the install sometime tom...

I have a few more goodies to install while im down there

oh yea

i borrowed a hub puller from napa. installation took like 5 minutes

alligned the car myself afterwards. there is ALOT of adjustment on these arms

its official

350z springs + spc front and rear camber kit = perfect allignment
