Intelligent Key

Am I right in understanding that the G35 first had Intelligent key offered on the 05 model? Was it still an option on the 06's?

That is correct and yes it was offered on 06s.

I've got an intelligent key on my 05 and love it. Other than the obvious keyless features, what else are you able to do with the key fob? Can you roll down windows or anything else? Any info is much appreciated.

Yeah, with the 06's you can roll down the windows using the key. Don't think you can do anything else with it becides the normal features, keyless doors/keyless ignition.
