Whenever you Guys and Gals cannot find a post you started, go to "Currrently Online", find and click on your User Name, then click on "See All User's Posts".

Since it may have been Moved by an Admin or Mod, that is the easiest way to find them.

Might be worthwhile to make it policy to pm the person that got their post moved, would only take a couple clicks and one sentance sent. Side benefit is less misplaced post's in the furture.

No prob-- I wasn't even the one that moved it [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img] There's probably at least a post or two a day that gets moved from the coupe forum, as it has higher traffic, so I don't automatically go on "wrong topic" hunt in this one.

I'm talking about the "will these wheels fit?", "how do I do this on the Nav?" questions that pop up in the coupe/sedan forums. C'mon... we should know better [img]/w3timages/icons/tongue.gif[/img]

Maybe if you have more sections:
Miscellaneous Hoo-Ha,
Styling Modifications,
Paint/Body,
Technical Modifications,
Concerns and Problems,
Along with the others...

 

99% of the time, a post will fit into the categories we've got. We already have a crowded Forum page (as many users have complained about), so I think that exercising a bit of discretion on the poster's part is a probably a better long-term solution.

I'm not sure where Miscellaneous Hoo-Ha would fit in, but I'd put those in detail shop, detail shop, and mods respectively. Many people post about body kits, etc. in the Detail Shop, as it's mentioned in its description. As for Concerns/Problems, most concerns and/or problems will fit into a category [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

Perhaps if things get a bit too busy in the future it will be a consideration, however a) everything must be re-divided, and b) new forums were just added a few months ago with great effort.
