Cheap mod, 300zxTT 1.2Bar rad cap...

I purchased & installed a 300zx twin turbo 1.2 bar radiator cap from a local Nissan dealer, our stock cap is a 0.9 bar, the zx cap has a higher boiling point which helps cool things down a little, the summers here in Toronto are pretty hot, I immediately noticed the temperature guage slightly lower, nice little mod for the summer.

LOL, I can just imagine how hot it is in Texas, in your case I would upgrade to a Nismo radiator & maybe a couple of bottles of Red Line water wetter. lol

It basically raises the boiling point of the coolant, which will increase the performance of your radiator. Inexpensive upgrade, nothing major.

Exactly! But you raise the "boiling point" at which you have "boil over", not lower the temp at which it operates. However, you may increase the efficiency of the system, therefore it throws off more heat and works cooler. Or some such shit.
