Brake Fluid Drops

Everyend of the day I always find some brake fluid drops inside my right rear wheel. Has anyone experience this problem? Thanks

Re: Brake Fluid Drops

Sounds like a leak, it should not drip at all. Get it checked as soon as possible.

Re: Brake Fluid Drops

I called Infiniti this morning and they are booked until the 20th. I guess for now I'll just be prepared to use the foot-e-brake. Thanks.

Re: Brake Fluid Drops

It might be as easy as tightening the brake line fitting or snuging up your bleed valve. It might save you the hassle of going to the dealership for work.

I am surprised that they didn't give this issue top priority. If you were to have a brake related failure and accident, they could be held liable for not addressing your problem

Re: Brake Fluid Drops

If you are cavitating air into the brake-line from a vacuum caused by losing brake fluid from a low-point leak, it can easily cause catastrophic failure of the braking system. Make sure your dealer knows this, and that you have clearly communicated it to more than one of their representatives.

If you fail to make a stop, resulting in property damage, or worse, personal injury or death as result of this, it would be, uh, . . . bad.

If it were me, I would just show up there with it, the hell with waiting until the 20th, that does need immediate attention! If they say no, call Infiniti right there on the spot!

Id say just go in and see if you can drop your car off for a few hours........ brake fluid leaking = could be bad.

Re: Brake Fluid Drops

I stop by the Infiniti Service today and showed them where the brake fluid drops is. They said just keep checking the brake fluid level if it goes down the "minimum line" until I see them again on the 20th.

Re: Brake Fluid Drops

That's not right, they seem to be blowing it off to easily! Plus, hope you don't get any on any painted areas!
