Check the thread for "Complete List of TSB's" in the TSB section of the forums, there's one for rear deck rattles.

 

If it is a slight squeak it may be what I had. The paper gasket on the rear shock tower was torn. They put in a new on and the squeak was gone. I could not figure out what the hell it was but I tore the car appart looking for it. The dealer was cool and replaced all the clips I broke due to frustration.

LOL, this reminded me of myself, I had a squeak in a car some years ago, took it to the dealer like 3 times, they couldn't find it, I spent like 4 nights taking things apart trying to find it, turned out to be a brake line, rubber outside, rubbing against the body, that finally did it!

Yeah, been there too, I tend to hear things no one else hears on a car! I don't know which one of your cars I like best, that Chevelle sounds nice!

Thanks,its an old hold over. When my friends had them I had my 911. Now I've got the velle and there are long gone. At least I didn't make some of their mistakes in taking 30 years off a car. She's just as expensive as the G. You always want this or that. It never ends.
