05 hot weather rattle issues

hey all
since weathers been hitting up to 80+ these days.
ihv seen my center console creaks alot LOT more lately.
It creaks when i brake, u know the heater buttons. the line between the silver plate meets the black console. when i brake it creaks right there.

does any of u are having this problem? which is a creaking noise from your center console (the gear shift) place due to the hot weather?
im talking for automatics, u manuals have that circular shift i don't know if that has the same problems.

thanks

Mine has been the opposite. In cold weather, I get rattles from the dash. I assumed it was from the materials contracting due to the cold. When the weather heats up, the rattles go away....

Read through the last tip in the squeak / rattle repair TSB.

http://www.infinitihelp.com/Ownershi.../ITB05-053.htm

As a word of warning, the dealer's repair guys did a quick fix, even though I gave them the TSB. Instead of removing the parts, they pried them apart with some tool, and stuffed tape in gap. It looked hideous. I removed it, and decided to try spraying some silicone lubricant into the gaps. Aside from having to wipe up the excess, that worked for me.
