Well getting aftermarket rims feels like it would be a waste here with all these potholes, so I've been thinking to throw on either the coupe 19's or the coupe 18's, since they'll definatly handle the road.

Since im not sure yet though I may just cop spacers for the meantime. What is the real benefit with them, or are they all simply for look ?

I really want to find coupe 18's first for it. If i do find a good deal Id love to get the 19's, but tires are just sp expensive in that size. Brooklyn roads aren't nice at all, so getting aftermarket rims feels like a waste of money with all these potholes and "canyons".
Spacers supposedly will give you a bit more stability and slightly better handling, but that might be arguable. Plus you will have more space to clear BBK's, although you prob need to go at least 15mm. That's what I'm doing, I've got OEM Brembo's going on soon, but I need 15mm spacers so I can keep my stock wheels for winter use.

BTW, I've got coupe 18's I'd rather sell locally if you're interested. They need a little cleaning up tho.

Look for hubcentric spacers while you are at it they will cost a more than an ordinary spacer. Hubcentric means the spacer comes in the same center bore that your factory wheels have so that there is no chance of vibration when you drive over 60mph there's some on eBay.

Nice work! Damn, I was wondering why your car looks so much lower than mine.....I think it's an optical illusion w/ you painting your black trim to match your car!

How much did this run you to get all 4 sides painted?

Actually I got "lucky" and did it off my insurance check after an accident, so really I have no idea how much it would run up on its own.

$weet $hizz.. there isnt anything bad that can be said about this mod. you must love diving into turns now. alot of the body roll is eliminated with this upgrade. now the car drives more like a sports car then a sedan.

Are these the revised z springs and shocks or the old ones? Does this mod require camber adjusters?

SdanMan his springs and shocks came from a 2003 350z so the springs are unrevised as far as camber adjustments some of us with the unrevised springs have had to get the front camber kit to correct the negative camber but it's really up to you if you want the camber kit or not some can live with the negative camber and find it cheaper to just keep rotating their tires from left to right and/or front to back to keep the tread wear even.

The car does look really low for 350Z springs. Is he running a shorter tire. My Z/coupe springs setup (same drop) doesn't look as low. Maybe when I paint the lowers in a few weeks, the car will look lower.

The painted lowers will give it a lower look, but also I am on a 45 sidewall profile, rather than a 55 sidewall profile on my Falken tires.
