350Z in USCC 2004
I dont know how many of you read Sport Compact Car but every year they have a Ultimate Street Car Challenge where anyone and everyone who privately owns and mods their own car can submit it for a competition to determine who has the best modded cars. Anyways some cars that have won the competition have included Ferrari 360 modena *kinda unfair the first itme, highly moddified Viper GTS (i think it was last year) and a nice Skyline GTR R34 came in second that year as well.
Anyways this months issue (feb 2004) theres a Procharger fitted 350Z competing in the comeptition amongst other biggies. Next months issue will have the acutal challenge and results.

sooo cheer on our VQ brother in this comeptition and check it out in stores. Other cars in this years comeptition include 96 Viper GTS, 94 Eclipse GSX, 97 Supra Turbo, 91 Skyline GTR, and 00 S4.

Re: 350Z in USCC 2004
the z is going to get murdered. i'm sorry, but the cars in the scc challenge get better and better every year. there is a 900hp supercharged gts viper, r32 skyline with a r34 engine and t04 turbo, and a wannabe mclaren f1 "project car"... along with that, a single turbo 2jz and bpu 2jz and two other very fast 1st gen eclipses. plus a mister 2 and some other cars...
not that i dont love our car, but i think this test will show that the nissan is very reliable and performs "well" with basic boltons, and a basic FI system without internals or very much tuning. it doesn't stand a chance against any of the cars though, unless one of em breaks down.
the 350 is more of a show for axis' wheels. i'm anxious to see how it performs with the hotchkis swaybars... because i seem to be one of the only people on this board who chose hotchkis over the eibachs.

actually
as a former employee of axis, and a former driver of this awesome car from show to show, i can state this car handles like no other! it in fact, did win the contest, even though it held the lowest hp, and other power ratings.....from what i hear the hotchkis bars are great, personally that car drives a hell of a lot better than my g35 c and am considering purchasing the bars from hotchkis. axis project cars are a threat, dont let the yellow show car paint fool you, they dont mess around when it comes to tuning their cars....
