Re: Are these covered by Warranty?

I’m on my third trunk grab handle. Yes, it’s covered by warranty. Now if I can just get one to stay in for more than a few months…

What I want to know is, what are you guys doing where you have to open the trunk from the inside?

You know, it’s quite a roomy trunk—you’d be amazed at what you can fit in there!

Seriously though, the handle just fell off in my hand when I was closing it after loading groceries, junk from Target, a dead body, etc…

PS. 2k2MaximaRIP--your sig makes me laugh everytime I look at it, I love it!

They can't fix mine. The inside ahndles will not "pop on"as I am told. Sure enough I can't get it to stay put either...POS. What can you do...everytime I break it trying to get it to stay put the dealer gives me a new on to keep trying with. I have had my car for 1 year and 4 days and I have had 4 handles given to me.

Wait, you guys are talking about the handle to close the trunk, not the release handle, right? That thing seems kind of useless anyway, IMO!

Tell them to fix it, even if they have to replace the whole friggin' trunk lid. Mine's solid as can be, no problems. Did they bother to check behind the deck liner material to see if whatever thing the handle "pops" into is intact?
