Replacing city light bulbs

So i got my silver stars today and i'm in the process of replacing them, i also got the 194 white LED's to swap out with those fugly oem yellow ones. it took me about 1 hour just to replace one side.. the 9003 was easy but the city light was a PITA.. there has to be an easier way... the buld dropped in the light housing and it took an 1/2 hour just to get it out. i was only able to do one side but it looks wayyy better, will get to the other side tomorrow. the yellow hint is gone and the light is totally white now. I put an led for the lic plate and i disconnected the clear corner bulbs. the silver star bulb sux btw, i had the cool blues on another car and they looked wayy whiter.. i'll just leave the stoopid fog light off so it looks all white.

if anyone knows an easier way to change that silly 194 buls in the headlight housing pls let me know so i don't have another cow tomorrow night.

some people may tell you to remove the wheel to get easy access, which is true. but to save the hassle from removing the wheels and reinstalling them and torquing, i just jack the car up. i jack it up to where it opens between the fender and the wheel. then remove the plastic cover to get into the house. you may have to pull it back just enough so you can see the sockets for the bulbs.

Look here my friend...they're called "clearance lights" per the Owner's manual. There is an easier way...but you really didn't tell us the method you used for the 1st replacement you did....though if it took you 1 hour for one side, must been a PITA.

Here you go.....go to thread #14. It will take you 10-15 min. tops!

Very cheap mod & looks 100x better IMO....I used PIAA wedge bulbs (similar to yours).
