Brake Bias Question

I just took my G in for its 48K KM service. They tell me that there is 85% left on Front Brakes, and 50% left on the Rear Brakes. I expect the front pads to be more worn then the back pads. The Brakes and suspension are stock.

I questioned the stealership about the brake wear and they told me it was due to the VDC kicking in. My VDC kicks in extremely rarely, even in the winter.

I've been testing my G with harder stops and I'm not noticing too much front end dive. Are the brakes that well balanced? What do you guys think? You experiencing similar wear? Do I have Brake Biasing Problem?

Thanks,

were the front and rear pads installed at the same time? you might be on your second set of front pads and on the original rears

i experienced the same thing. I just replaced my rear pads that only had 1/32nd left on them while the fronts still had 6-7.

i think it is the vdc. people that report rear brake that goes out faster than the front usually roll with the vdc on.

They are the stock pads from the factory. Haven't changed them yet.
