Re: Aluminum Pedals!!!

I didn't see your post initially. See my new post about pedal misrepresentation. The Grubbs site charges extra for the clutch pedal or the parking brake pedal, it's included at other sites.

http://www.performancenissanparts.com/
and
http://www.infinitiwholesaleparts.com/en_US/

are the cheapest. I got mine from Grubbs (2nd link) and had no problems.

http://www.strictlyz.com/ is pretty close in price

So you want to pay more? Did that post scare you from Grubbs? You can also use the FA discount code with Grubbs:

Re: Aluminum Pedals!!!

I see you have a 6MT. Well my installation was pretty damn hard. The gas pedal and foot rest was easy but the small tight covers for the clutch and brake were the absolute hardest. My finger tips were hurting the next day because of those two. What helped a lil bit was using the blow dryer to heat up the brake and clutch pads so it gave a little more flexibility. I'm sure if I used a little lubricant like WD40 that would have helped even more. But don't let that discourage you. These pedals are awesome and classy.

Re: Aluminum Pedals!!!

I don't think anyone includes the parking brake with their kit for the 5AT. Technically they don't even make one for the parking brake. People are just buying a clutch pedal and using it on the parking brake.
Before you trash Grubbs, at least they send you all of the parts for the install. Strictly Z does not give you the gas pedal clip in their kit. They tell you to cut the old one off and use it. That is deceptive and mickey mouse!

Re: Aluminum Pedals!!!

Our AT kit includes the footrest, accelerator pad, two bushings for accel pad, AT brake pad, and the clutch/brake pad (for use on the e-brake pedal). So 6 parts in total for the AT kit.

The 6MT kit has the footrest, acclerator pad, two bushings for accel pad, and then 3 small pads (for use with e-brake, brake and clutch). So there are 7 parts in total for the 6MT kit.

Also, for some applications (5at sedan i think?) the e-brake pad doesn't fit 110% like the others. Where the metal pad meets the arm, it's flat right there, so i've seen suggestions of using an adhesive of some sort to help hold the pad in place. I don't believe it's completely neccesary, but rather extra insurance down the road. But if it were me, I'd probably use something to make it stick better.

Hope this helps!

Re: Aluminum Pedals!!!

On the site it's $73.50 for the 5AT and for the 6MT they're $89.61.
Shipping is cheap too, as they're pretty small, lightweight items.
