daddy got some new shoes!

well, i finally finally got some new wheels/rims today! just won an ebay auction from a buy who was selling local and got a steal of a deal. Racing Hart C4 3-piece wheels (19x8.5 +38 and 19x9.5 +45) with BFGoodrich T/A KDWs (245/35/19 and 255/35/19) with only 4k miles on the set. got the whole package for $1525 one of the wheels has some rash so that will set me back $125 or so to get them repaired.

i had been shopping around for ages, looking at Works VS-XX, M45 OEM wheels, Works Varianza T1S, etc etc. when these racing harts came up, i loved them. mesh design, decent lip and best of all, a good price and local seller. i should be able to pick them up this weekend, still waiting for the seller to contact me.

i've never owned aftermarket rims. i'm going to empty out my car so i can fit them in. i'm assuming one in the trunk and the rest in the backseat? i want to get the set balanced before i put them on since i suspect they've been sitting in a garage for a little while.

where should i go to get them balanced/mounted? most shops that do this will carry the hubcentric rings i should use right? how about transferring TPMS? should i do it? i'd like to preserve it if possible, but i don't know if they will work with a different set of wheels/tires.

can't wait to get them on and post pics!

damn that is a steal. the tps will either fit correctly or you have to band them to the wheels.

FYI, I've fit 2 18" wheels with tires in my trunk, and 2 in the back seat.

i've fit all 4 coupe 18's with tires in my back seat since i dont have a trunk (sound system) so you should have no problem getting all 4 in your car.

Congrats!

I have fit 4 20's with tires in my back seat many times. Just put down towels on the seats, put the wheels in bags and put pillows between them.

Hmm I couldn't get all 4 19" wheels and tires to fit inside my back seat best I could do was two and the other two in the trunk but I took out my spare tire to do so. Good price for some 3 piece you're lucky I never saw those I lurk on eBay for good deals on wheels the was the average person checks their bank account. I'm somewhat disapointed I didn't catch them but glad another driver scooped them up! Congrats!

You can easily fit one in the spare wheel well, one in the trunk and two in the back.

Awesome deal on the wheels! I thought I got a good deal on these, but I think you made out better:

$500 for 5 rims and 1 tire. They need some work though, but they're going my my little bros new SI sedan.
