Alarm Installed / My feedback
Hi, I finally done my Alarm Installation.
It was not so hard, I take my time and I've done the job in about 6hours
I've Installed the New Clifford 50.5x SST with the 1 mile range.
I,ve done a little test range. I've walked away about 500meters ans still have signal confirmation on my remote!! keep in mind that there are about 15 houses that block my car signal. I haven't test in a building yet. but my goal is to be able to get warned if I go out on a restaurant, movie or bar. Where I have between 400-800meters distance from my car. Other then that, the thief have enough time to take what he want and go away.
Overall features I'm very happy. I didn't setup the remote start. I don't feel comfortable to bypass the transponder, that remove a protection on the car.
anyway, If I want it have only have to install 2-3 wires.
If you planing to buy an Alarm go with DEI and the 1mile range SST.
By installing myself I save alot of money. I've bought the alarm kit on eBay for 245$. I ask my local alarm installer shop for a quote price. They quote me for 649$ Alarm + installation. Door lock, Trunk release and additional sensor are 40$ each options.!!! Damn, That's very expensive!...
If you know some electronic basic, have soldering iron and electric tape you can install an alarm by yourself.
If someone want to install on a 2003 Sedan, let me know I will be able to tell you where exactly find the wires.
P.S I found a super easy way to get the LOCK and UNLOCK door connection. Instead of going into the door.

Well anyway, I"ve ordered my 556UW transponder bypass. Not sure if I will install it or maybe keep only as an Alarm
Here is What I found for the 2003 Doors wire inside the car instead of going tru doors
2003 Infiniti G35 Sedan (BCM is different from 2004 models; not sure about coupe)
At the top of the face of the BCM, more toward the rear of the car, there's a brown plug.
In the top row of the plug, there are first two wires, then two empty slots, then the clip that holds the plug in place.
Counting from the left, it goes like this:
1. BLACK/PINK
2. GREEN/RED
3. UNLOCK (empty pin)
4. LOCK (empty pin)
5. CLIP
Arm/Disarm: Yes
Domelight turn-on: Yes
Controls Windows: No
One pulse to the unlock wire to disarm only; double pulse to unlock all doors.
