I wouldn't say "nicer", considering that the IS has a much nicer interior and arguably better exterior styling, but I'm sure he'll find the G to be much more fun (faster by far, and much better handling).

Congrats I am looking to adding a G35 myself. I currently own a 500hp evo but it is too damn loud, harsh ride,etc... My woman doesn't even want to ride in it anymore...lol

I like the looks of the IS. A friend at work just got one but I still like the G better.

Good choice. I myself am a relatively new 03 G sedan owner. Why didn't you get the coupe?

I test drove the IS 250 and found the interior to be to small for me and didn't have the HP and room like the G35.

as far as getting a nicer car.. thats up in the air. my IS 250 was much quiet and smoother than the G. but since it was a 250 the G is much quicker and just has more *****.

yep, im planning to mod. im thinking of some simple mods and running OEM coupe 19s. we'll have to see what happens.
