Side skirt I think????

Alright guys, I was at the golf club the other day and hooked the underside of my passenger door on a boulder at the corner of the lot(yes it ruined my round, what a waste of my $150- I should have just went home right then) also curbed the rear wheel and tore a tire. So my question is what do they call the part below the 2 doors(rocker panel, side skirt?) and can I buy it pre-painted, seems like a piece of plastic that I can change out myself, as for the wheel anyone have a single in mint condition available. I was so pissed at myself, but actually thought the damage was worse based on the sound!!!!!!

That sucks, I'm sorry.

It is called a side skirt or side valance. They don't come painted from the dealer. The only ones that come pre-painted are the nismo ones. A body shop should be able to paint one for ~$100-150.

since you are in maine I would think that no sponsors are going to be able to beat that price of $285 painted after having to ship it. I think you should just jump on it and get on the road of recovery

If you want to try, PM tony@riversideinfiniti seee what he can do.

The 06 rocker panels are prepainted. 285 is a good price for them prepainted I paid more than that for my unpainted stillen who knew the dealer had oem parts that cheap.

That's right you can install them yourself take off your door kick plates with a butter knife and then you'll see where the rockers attach to your body of the car there's a lot of little clamps on the sills so you'll need to use some elbow grease to pull them free your new skirts will be your gide as to where they are located on the body. Should be a couple of screws in the wheel wells too and that's it.
