1/4 in my G

Took my G to LACR last night. Im stock performance wise. And I was putting down constant 15.1 @92mph in the quater mile. Due to elevation you subtract .6 sec. off the time, so I was doing 14.5's. Want to get my Injen CAI and that should put me down to 14.9 (14.3). What has everybody else been running?

Re: 1/4 in my G

Ok. Minus elevation 14.5s is not bad, however practice on your 60', drop your rear tire pressure to 28-29 and remove spare + tools next time. Did you brake torque it? Were you shifting in manually or just left in auto?

My suggestion - get light (forged) rims and wide sticky tires and you should run at least 2.1xx, the less your 60' the better
your final result.

As far as other times I know 'normjack' here ran on his 03 auto sedan 14.36@96.86 - 60' 2.20 (50 degrees) with just K&N Air Filter replacement only I believe with stock tires.

Good luck!

Re: 1/4 in my G

You should do a 24 hour ecu reset - disconnect the battery's negative terminal - another 15 hp - viola.
