Yup sorry, the floor board of the 350Z is slightly different than the G35s.

Did you try them?

I know Tyson helped his cousin put a set of coupe seats in a Z and he said the fit.

Nope Not exactly. I researched it before going w. the G35 coupe seats.

The floor board is physically different between the G and the Z. A spacer is needed to rase one side. I'm reasonably sure the holes do line up otherwise. Not a direct drop-in to say the least. This was based on the knowledge several years back, but I wouldn't think the floor pan has been revised since.

It would be interesting to know what exactly Tyson did to make one fit.

He told me it was a direct swap. I know the pass coupe seat I have is quite low and could use spacers to raise it up a bit. I think the Z seat might be the same.

If I had any friends local with a Z i would try it.

Boy I really had to dig deep for this one. This is the original post I made nearly 3 years ago:

https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...ght=350Z+seats

A lot have since transpired to say the least. It is entirely possible I was mislead back then about 350Z seats not working in the G35.

Sure enough I now see the pic of Tyson's pic of the 350Z w. the G35 coupe seat. Very interesting! Again it's been 3 years and memory has never been my forte.

None the less, as I try to think real hard, I believe it was actually the passenger-side floor board that was slightly off between the 350Z and the G35. I insisted on having a matching set of front seats, so the coupe seats were the ticket then.

Did Tyson also have the passenger seat swapped?

Yeah the pic he put up was both seats.

BTW, thanks for trying the swap so long ago. You are a big part of the reason I did it!

Rly? Both driver and passenger side fits!? I stand corrected then.
That is good news for the sedan owners.

Oh and you're welcome w. the leg work. It was well worth the trouble.

Power Z seats would be pretty hard to find I think, esp leather. Do the Z's have memory?

the ones i found local aret non-power seats that came in the track model. It was rewrapped in two-tone black/silver leather. I talked to price down to $375 but losing power/memory ona luxury sedan is not making me feel any better about pulling the trigger on it.

I could prob live w/out the memory if I had to since I'm the only one who drives my car, but I would hate to lose power. Are the track seats different than the others? Are they not available w/ power?

track definitely dont have the power seats i guess its for weight. I know the 35th anniversary ones as well as the touring Z's come with leather and power seats but no one wants to sell them There is one on ebay for $100 + shipping but its tan

Figures, that way said they would be pretty hard to find. Smashed the local junkyard is probably the only way to go.
