From all the others that posted this question before...Your car will run lean. You are better off either keeping it and getting it tuned or reflashed or just stick with the 5/16 spacer...

The MREV2 is the exact same thing as the lower plenum that is already on your car. The rev up motors lower plenum was designed differently and motordyne basically made a mold of the non revup lower plenum for people who have the rev up motor.

Just use the 5/16 spacer - if you order the MREV2 you are putting exactly the same thing as you have now back in your car.

If you have a 05-07 6speed then you have a rev up motor. If you have 03-04 6speed you have a non revup and if you have a 03-07 auto then you have a non revup motor.

not entirely true.... The MREV2 is a modified lower collector from the non-revup... It not a mold or replica - it actually is a non-revup lower collector... but it has been machined a bit in critical areas for better air flow... There is a ton of info on my350Z and a bit here too... it will give minute gains on the non-revup, but very good gains on the rev-up.

OP, since you have already ordered it will not hurt to install... you should have a dyno with A/F ratio to determine if you are running lean... It's highly doubtful you will run dangerously lean and the ECU will prevent a dangerous condition but your performance may suffer... It is suggested (regardless of running too lean) to have your ECU tuned anyway for optimal performance - especially since you are doing breather mods.

IMO the 1/2" or 5/16" spacer is a very good bang for the buck - there are several other things you could do that will probably yield better performance than the lower collector (on a non-revup), but in the whole of things the MREV2 will help a little.

Happy modding.

I would just sell it to someone with a rev-up since you won't get much for gains.

On a non-rev you can just use the MREV2, but if you run both the MREV2 and spacer the engine will run lean. I was told by the preformance shop just to use the 5/16 spacer. They send with the MREV2 you gain about 2 horsepower more at upper rpms.
