ok thanks...and also..i might get it done at an infiniti dealership here in houston..apparantly someone is willing to help me that knows the guys from the dealer and can get me a rental and then tow my car to sgp for tuning..ill see if that works out..if not ill do it with fastlane..tons of experience..they work on twin turbo vipers and stangs and all sorts of badass rides

actually...thats the dealer i wanted to go to...this guy named tim was trying to help me get a good deal there..like included rental car, and a free tow to sgp..they said they wanted 105 an hour though...:/ so thats about 1200 or more. but let me know if you can hook it up man..i kinda want to do this at a dealer now

I didn't know Clear Lake Infiniti would install aftermarket parts. If so, will the warranty still stand since it's dealer done work? I'd love to get a turbo put in sometime in the distant future but knowing the dealership could do it is an option vs. SGP or CarBoy.

 

yea thats the thing clearlake does aftermarket as well...and can get turbo parts and etc. and because its done by the dealer it HAS to be done right..or they are to blame and HAVE to cover it..which is why i kinda want to do it at a dealer now im pretty much guaranteed that it will be done right..and if ANYTHING WAS wrong with the turbo kit..and turbonetics doesnt want to cover it..the friggin Infiniti dealership can tell them to pay up..i mean cmon..Inifiniti did it..

 

Just because the dealer installed it does not mean it won't void your powertrain warranty. I would make sure and get something in writing from the service manager saying they will still honor your warranty if they do the installation and you do not change anything.

 

I'd love to hear if they'll give you something in writing. I'd be more than happy to go to Houston to get this done...

 

My dealer is an authorized Stillen installer. They will install anything Stillen has for sale and honor the factory warranty for the car and any Stillen warranty for their products. They put on my headers and Stillen exhaust. Absolutely no problems with warranty after. Your local dealers may be different. Turbos do not apply.

 

Yeah one of the dealers by me does the same thing with Stillen stuff. Turbos are a whole different thing.
