problem with power seats

problem with power seats

the seats slide forward and back but the back recline is not working in the passenger seat what could be the problem? and where could I take the car to get this fixed?

Could be either a loose connection or the motor that reclines the seat is dead. If the car is under warranty take it to the dealer, if not, take it to a reputable shop.

Unhappy same problem with front seat does not recline

JT I'm in a bad situation, my seat is inclined all the way up (toward the steering wheel) and it will NOT recline. Can you offer any help on how you resolved the problem. And at what cost?

Mine did the same exact thing, I think it's the switch because it started working again sporadically.

It could be dirty contacts. Try disconnecting the switch and spray the inside of it with CRC contact spray.

Any new information anyone can provide. Its a real intermittant problem. How do you disconnect the switch and spray the inside?
