Bulletin: 2005-2008 Sunroof Lid Seal

Hi,

I know this has been posted on the 2007+ sedan forum but this affects the 05 and 06 G's as well. Did anyone had to bring the G in to change the seal?

2005-2008 INFINITI G35 SEDAN AND FX; SUNROOF LID SEAL
The sunroof lid seal is not sealing correctly.

I think the seal is fine on my car too. But it's something we might have to keep an eye on especially if the warranty is around the corner for the 05's.

Would you do it before your warranty though? That's a part I don't like messing with because it can leak if not replaced properly.

No problem so far,

As matter of fact, I wish it's broken, thinking about an excuse to get rid of the whole sun roof & motors assembly etc. Plug it with carbon fiber ~50 weight loss
from the roof.
